Our Leather

At CHÁTÁD, we use 100% natural premium, full-grain cow leather. Full-grain leather is known as the highest quality leather due to its refined look and durability. It comes from the first layer of the cowhide. Imperfections such as wrinkles, scars, and blemishes are its natural characteristics, which makes each hide unique. Color and grains will change over time. Patina will develop as it ages. No two hides are exactly the same.

Handcrafted                                                                                                        

To ensure quality, each piece is handmade by skilled and passionate craftsmen. However, minimal errors in assembling, like slight excess paints inside the case, are unavoidable. Our stocks are limited to preserve the quality of our products.      

Sustainability

Here at CHÁTÁD, helping our future environment is highly regarded. We sourced our leathers from cows raised for their meat, and not from animals raised only for their skin. We produce high-quality products, to use for a longer period. Unlike the cheap mass-produced products that do not last long. We limit the production of our stocks, to conserve energy and reduce waste. Our packaging is intentionally created to reuse as a pouch to hold your small essentials.                         

Personalization

All personalized items are hand-stamped using a hot stamping machine with brass-cut dies and foil. Please anticipate imperfections, such as misalignments, and not perfectly centered. No two stamped items will look the same due to natural variations and factors in the process. Stamps are placed in the ideal location based on the product’s size, shape and texture. Also, monogramming may not imprint perfectly on textured leather. If you are concerned about these, we suggest to skip personalizing your order. Please note that all personalized items are final sales and can not be returned or exchanged. 

We use Times New Roman font, in size 6mm. Available in upper case letters from A to Z, numbers from 0-9, special characters such as, & + $ ; , ' \ - ! @ # | . * ? / ( ) • , and icons . Foil colors are available in gold and silver, rose gold, white, and black. The default foil color is GOLD, if you fail to indicate. You are allowed to choose for up to eigh (8) characters for phone cases and wallets, and up to three (3) characters for Airpods. Repetitive characters are subject to approval. Please don't forget to indicate your preferred characters and foil color in Add Personalization Box during your checkout.

Foil is not permanent. It will fade or peel off over time. Avoid direct contact with the foil, do not touch or rub it to prolong its best appearance.

How accurate is the color display on your website?

All photos are captured using the actual products. We strive our best to show you the accurate color. However, due to lightings and different screen settings display, expect a slight color difference. 

Availability

All items are available and ready to ship unless it is marked as sold out. Our stocks are limited to preserve the quality of our products. Paid orders are guaranteed to be reserved. Out of stock items, may take too long to restock, as our products are handmade, and quality is our priority.

Caring Details

CHÁTÁD products are made from natural leathers, NOT PU/synthetic. Please expect wear and tear from daily use. Your proper handling and mindful caring are needed to maintain its best appearance for an extended period. Avoid, and be cautious of the following:

  • Any rough, pointed and sharp surfaces to minimize scratches.
  • Absorption of moisture such as water, oil, or sweat, may produce dark marks, which is more evident in light-colored leather. If it gets water, immediately pat dry with a microfiber cloth and let it air dry.
  • Dirt, inks, cosmetics, dyes, dark denim and any materials that bleed color will create stains, mostly on light colored leather.
  • Harsh substances like alcohol, and also excessive heat, and extreme temperatures, will trigger peel-off and discoloration.
  • Unnecessary removal of your phone. Use your fingertips, not your fingernails when installing and uninstalling the case.
  • Touching and rubbing the foil-stamped part may cause to peel-off and fade fast. 

When cleaning natural leather, use a clean damp (not saturated) soft white microfiber cloth. Gently wipe and do not rub excessively. Avoid the foil stamped area. Clean only when necessary. 

The foil stamped will peel-off and fade eventually over time. DO NOT touch nor rub the foil to prolong its best appearance. When the personalization is unreadable, you can remove it by using a q-tip with a moisturizer. Dab a small amount and gently scrape the remaining foil. Do not saturate the leather with moisturizer.

Order guaranteed reservation

Paying your order as soon as possible is a must to ensure the reservation of your order. You will be given 48 hours to settle your payment, after this your order will be automatically canceled.

Change/Cancellation of an order

Changing your order is not allowed after payment is done. We aim to process orders immediately, for fast dispatch/shipping. If not yet paid, changes to an order can be done before payment by contacting us. Please include the order number, your name, and a detailed description of the changes. Contact us through email or our provided contact number by SMS/iMessage.

Canceling your order is not allowed after payment is done. Changing your mind and other reasons are not accepted. 

Exchange and Refund

Before checking out, please make sure that your order is correct, especially if it's personalized. Please double-check if you input the right model and the color of your choice. For personalized orders, be sure you typed in the correct characters and foil color, inside the 'Add Personalization' box, in your shopping cart. We process your order immediately after payment, for fast shipping. NO exchange and NO refunds.

Return & Warranty

We do not accept returns. We do quality checking of our products before dispatch. However, we offer a seven (7) days warranty for factory defects and damaged items during transit. Defects done by the user are not covered, such as damages resulting from accidents, improper handling, and normal wear, and tear. If you receive an item with a factory defect, send us a photo or video record immediately. The decision of your claim is at the discretion of our customer care. Once approved, we will send the replacement. Refund is not allowed.

We offer high-quality products, and we inspect each item before we ship. Please be sure that you ordered the correct model and the color of your choice. For personalized orders, be sure you typed in the correct text and foil color, inside the 'Add Personalization' box, in your shopping cart. Your order will be processed immediately after verifying your payment for fast shipping.

PAYMENT

Complete your purchase by choosing your preferred payment method upon checkout

PayPal - you will be redirected to another page and you have to log in to your account. Please send your proof of payment (take a clear shot of your transaction) as soon as possible through our email address, chatadleather@gmail.com , together with your order # for fast processing.

GCash or PayMaya - use 'Send Money' to transfer your payment. Please send your proof of payment (take a clear shot of your transaction) as soon as possible through our email address, chatadleather@gmail.com together with your order for fast processing. You must follow the instructions provided if you choose this option.

Bank payment - Deposit your payment to any branch of BPI or BDO bank; or 'Transfer Money' online through BPI Mobile or BDO Unibank Mobile. Please send your proof of payment (take a clear shot of your transaction) as soon as possible through our email address, chatadleather@gmail.com together with your order for fast processing. You must follow the instructions provided if you choose this option.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Where do you deliver? How much is the shipping fee? How many days to receive?

We ship and deliver nationwide with our partner couriers.

After your payment is verified, please expect your order to be dispatched/shipped within one (1) to three (3) business days.

To receive it fast, choose the pick up option. You can pick it up by yourself or use a 3rd party courier like Grab, Lalamove, etc. We're located in Eastwood, Quezon City. Please wait for us to contact you once your order is ready.

If you opt for delivery, please see the rates and the usual period below 

• Php 89 - Standard Delivery Metro Manila. One (1) to three (3) business days after it's been picked up by our partner courier

• Php 139 -Greater Manila Area (GMA). Particularly, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal. One (1) to four (4)  business days after it's been picked up by our partner courier

• Php 199 - Provincial Delivery. Three (3) to eight (8) business days after it's been picked up by our partner courier
